Customer Service - Inside Sales Representative

ASI Group is seeking a Business-to-Business CUSTOMER SERVICE /INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE to work in our corporate headquarters in Yonkers.
We are seeking a friendly, positive, upbeat individual who will proactively:
- Service existing accounts, process orders, and respond promptly to customer inquiries
- Provide pricing and delivery information
- Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers
- Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes
- Provide outstanding customer service support to better service customers and improve business performance
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and routing requests and unresolved issues to the appropriate source
- Maintain broad knowledge of products and services
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
- Participate in meetings and activities to improve customer satisfaction and business performance
- Assist in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers to promote repeat business
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
- Other duties as assigned
In order to succeed, you will need:
- Prior BUSINESS TO BUSINESS Customer Service Experience is a MUST
- Computer literacy with the ability to learn and understand computer programs
- Knowledge of use and functions of general office equipment such as copiers, phones, and printers
- Excellent phone demeanor
- Command of the English language including reading, writing, and spelling
Compensation for this position will range from $20.00 to $22.00, based on the candidate's experience.
