Your Responsibilities

• Leading thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and crafting personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses in partnership with physicians or independently (as credentialing permits)
• Teaching patients and families about prevention, wellness practices, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and management of chronic conditions
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote seamless, comprehensive care
• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education and Experience Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Oklahoma
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a similar specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or a willingness to obtain within 90 days)
