Consumer Loan Processor

Kforce has a client in Alexandria, VA that is seeking a Consumer Loan Processor responsible for managing consumer loan applications from initial intake through funding. This role ensures all loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal guidelines while delivering a high level of service to members throughout the process. Responsibilities Process and fund approved consumer loan applications in a timely and accurate manner Review credit reports, income documentation, and supporting materials to ensure complete loan files Communicate with members to gather additional information, provide updates, and support them throughout the loan process Coordinate with underwriting teams to submit applications and address any conditions or exceptions Maintain detailed and organized loan files while managing multiple applications simultaneously Ensure compliance with internal lending policies and regulatory requirements Identify opportunities to recommend relevant financial products and services based on member needs Requirements 2-3 years of consumer lending experience. Collections software experience in banking Excel experience Compensation and Benefits The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
