Shift Requirements M-F, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM after onboarding/training. Responsibilities Service XP/AX Imaging Equipment in the San Francisco - Bay Area, CA. Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision. Deliver timely and effective repairs while providing operator training to ensure optimal system performance and superior customer satisfaction. Manage financial performance within the territory, meeting or exceeding budgets for revenue generation, expense control and inventory management. Maintain company assets, including company car, cell phone, computer, tools and inventory parts. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately. Ideal Candidate Experience performing service, preventive maintenance and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency in tools and service test equipment, and understanding of electricity, power supplies and grounding. Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships and perform administrative duties accurately. Experience testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment. Required Skills Minimum high school diploma; technical associate’s degree or equivalent preferred. Proficiency with tools and service test equipment; ability to work individually and in a team. Proficiency in network applications and tools (eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website‑Engineer Tools). 3–5+ years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments. Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive independently day and night; good driving record required. Physical requirements: lifting 50 lbs, walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high‑reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision and independence. Excellent judgment in customer relations, resource management and instrument systems technology (mechanics, electrical, chemistry, software, electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems). Additional Requirements Position governed by the Fleet Safety Policy. Must hold a valid driver’s license in the state of residence; no prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending charges. Full access to Siemens Healthineers client sites is required; meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements (identification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, healthcare training) and maintain them during employment. Benefits The base pay range for this position is $72,800 – $100,100. Commission eligibility may apply per the Company’s plan.
