Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic procedures, and creating tailored care strategies
• Identifying and addressing acute or chronic health issues with the collaboration of physicians, or independently based on your qualifications
• Providing education to patients and families on health maintenance, illness prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing therapies and medications within established frameworks
• Participating in long-term care management and patient follow-ups
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to promote comprehensive healthcare
• Accurately recording patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• A degree from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to secure within 90 days)
