Job Description

• Create Tailored Therapy Approaches: Assess individual patient needs and formulate personalized treatment plans to assist them in achieving their goals for functional independence
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' motor capabilities, cognition, and everyday functional skills
• Collaborate in Interdisciplinary Teams: Work diligently with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, clinicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Guide Patients and Caregivers: Equip patients and their families with essential knowledge on therapeutic methods to foster continuous progress in their environments
• Assess and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans proactively, ensuring effective patient trajectories

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support for continuing education and advanced certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
