Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit with a 1:4–5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and manage patients requiring cardiac stepdown-level care
• Administer and reconcile medications using Omnicell medication management system
• Document patient assessments and care plans accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to other units as required in accordance with facility floating policies and Joint Commission standards
• Fulfill weekend commitment of every other weekend or two weekends per month

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – TN state or compact licensure required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – must not expire within 45 days of assignment start date
• NIHSS certification required (may be obtained after offer is extended)
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Cardiac Stepdown, PCU, or ICU/Stepdown settings
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard traveler rates; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
• Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry assessment skills
