Senior Product Manager

We're partnering with a fast-growing B2B SaaS company building a modern data platform that helps organisations improve the reliability, visibility, and governance of their data across increasingly complex data ecosystems. Trusted by enterprise customers and engineering teams alike, the platform integrates with the modern data stack to provide critical insights into data health, lineage, and operational performance. As the business continues to scale, they're investing heavily in their integrations platform and are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to help shape the future of their connector ecosystem. The Role This is a highly technical Product Management position sitting at the intersection of Product, Data Engineering, and Platform Engineering. You'll own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the company's integrations ecosystem, defining how the platform connects with the tools modern data teams rely on every day. Working closely with Engineering, you'll make technical product decisions, prioritise new integrations, and ensure every connector is reliable, scalable, and easy for customers to adopt. This isn't a generalist Product Manager position. The ideal candidate has a genuine technical background in data engineering or data infrastructure before moving into Product Management and enjoys working closely with engineers on complex technical challenges. Responsibilities Own the strategy and roadmap for the integrations and connectors platform. Prioritise and define new integrations across the modern data ecosystem. Partner closely with Engineering to design, build, test, and launch production-grade connectors. Translate customer requirements into detailed technical product requirements and user stories. Evaluate architectural trade-offs, technical feasibility, scalability, and long‑term maintainability. Define success metrics including adoption, reliability, latency, and operational performance. Recreate customer environments to validate connector behaviour and production readiness. Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Solutions Engineering to support successful product launches. Stay current with emerging technologies across cloud data platforms, APIs, ETL/ELT, orchestration, and developer tooling. Champion an outstanding developer and data engineer experience across the integrations platform. Requirements 3+ years of Product Management experience working on highly technical software products. Previous hands‑on experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, Analytics Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar technical role. Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and distributed systems. Experience working with data pipelines and ETL/ELT architectures. Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms and analytics ecosystems. Proven ability to partner deeply with engineering teams and make technically informed product decisions. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience). Nice to Have Experience working with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift. Familiarity with tools such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Tableau, or Power BI. Previous ownership of APIs, integrations, or connector ecosystems. Experience building developer-facing or platform products.
