Cutter Operator

Job Description

CDR ProSource is seeking a Cutter Operato r to join our client’s production team in Goshen, IN . This position is ideal for individuals with manufacturing experience, especially in rubber-related industries, although the company is willing to train the right candidate.

Job Details

Location: Goshen, IN.
Pay Rate: $16 – $17 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: Occasional Fridays (until 12:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

Support safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency in the cutting department
Follow production schedules and meet daily production goals
Operate and set up cutting equipment with instruction
Read and follow work orders (BOMs) and routing instructions
Use measuring tools and gauges accurately
Clean and maintain equipment between production runs
Assist other operators when needed
Follow 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
Maintain attendance and punctuality
Follow all safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Experience in rubber products (seals, gaskets, washers, stoppers) is a plus
Ability to read and follow work instructions
Basic understanding of measuring tools (gauges, tape measures)
Willingness to learn and be trained
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to follow safety procedures at all times
