CDR ProSource is seeking a Cutter Operato r to join our client’s production team in Goshen, IN . This position is ideal for individuals with manufacturing experience, especially in rubber-related industries, although the company is willing to train the right candidate.
Job Details
- Location: Goshen, IN.
- Pay Rate: $16 – $17 per hour
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Overtime: Occasional Fridays (until 12:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Support safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency in the cutting department
- Follow production schedules and meet daily production goals
- Operate and set up cutting equipment with instruction
- Read and follow work orders (BOMs) and routing instructions
- Use measuring tools and gauges accurately
- Clean and maintain equipment between production runs
- Assist other operators when needed
- Follow 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Maintain attendance and punctuality
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience in rubber products (seals, gaskets, washers, stoppers) is a plus
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Basic understanding of measuring tools (gauges, tape measures)
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow safety procedures at all times
