Medical Doctor Boston, Massachusetts, United States (On-site)Regional Medical Director – Geriatric Care FacilitiesWe are seeking an experienced Regional Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversight across a group of three geriatric care facilities in Boston, MA. This role is ideal for a physician with a strong background in long-term and geriatric care who enjoys a leadership-focused position with hands-on clinical involvement.Position OverviewThe Regional Medical Director will oversee medical standards, clinical quality, and physician services across two facilities. The role requires regular on-site presence, with travel between facilities that are all located within a close driving radius.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide medical leadership and clinical oversight across all assigned facilitiesOne facility visit per day, rotating among three facilitiesEnsure high-quality, patient-centered care in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standardsCollaborate closely with facility administrators, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary care teamsDevelop, implement, and monitor clinical policies, protocols, and best practicesSupport physician recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing performance managementParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and risk management effortsServe as a clinical resource for complex cases and medical decision-makingSchedule & Work ArrangementOne facility visit per day, rotating among three facilitiesFacilities are all located within a driving radiusPredictable schedule designed to support work-life balanceQualificationsMD or DO with active and unrestricted medical licensePrior experience as a Medical Director within geriatric care, long-term care, or skilled nursing facilitiesStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility and willingness to travel by car between facilities on a regular basisBoard certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferredCompensation & BenefitsSalary, commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including:Health insurancePaid time off (PTO)Additional benefits available upon discussionType: direct hire
