Position Overview

A successful State Farm Insurance Agent looking to hire an outgoing and customer-focused individual who enjoys working with the public. An intelligent person who can lead a team, multitask under pressure, and desires a high-income potential! Someone that aspires to maybe someday run their own business and be looked at as an advisor in the community! The Account Associate- State Farm Agent Team Member position, helps in developing business leadership skills, as well as sales and marketing experience. As part of this opportunity, you will learn from an experienced agent, see what it's like to run a local business and help grow an agency! 

Responsibilities

• Develop new leads, quote prospects, and schedule appointments
• Identify coverage gaps, and market appropriate products & services to customers. 
• Make insurance proposals to potential clients. (In-person & on the phone) 
• Establish relationships, and follow up with potential clients 
• Work with the agent to establish and meet office goals 
• Inbound calls & outbound calling to potential clients

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening

• Must be very well organized, and able to multitask in high pressure situations
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office programs (word, excel)
