Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the State of Virginia. Current CPR certification is required. Review health records and monitor compliance with immunization requirements; administer medications and treatments and monitor side effects; provide first aide for staff and students; act as case manager for students with chronic health conditions; serve as liaison for school system with various doctors, community and state agencies; provide information and training on bloodborne pathogens to school staff; serve on crisis intervention team and manage school health emergencies; school-based health resource for students, families, faculty, and staff.

Location: Hugh Mercer Elementary

Salary range: Placement on Nurse-RN salary scale depends on education and experience. $43,190 - $74,490
