As a Security Officer Patrol Inspector in Richmond VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds access points and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity and/or conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for authorized personnel visitors and vehicles following access control procedures and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Support daily operations by completing routine reports communicating with site leadership and/or Allied Universal management and helping to address security-related concerns in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
