Job Summary Geisinger is seeking an experienced or new graduate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team in Kulpmont, PA. This position offers a $10,000 recruitment incentive. Job Duties Extended appointment times: 40 minutes for medically complex patients and 20 minutes for average complexity and acute care visits. Collaborative care model with physician/APP panel sharing and daily huddles. Comprehensive support from pharmacists, care managers, health managers, clinic health associates, coding educators, and a centralized prescription refill team. Participation in a nurse call center to assist with on‑call workload. Use of Epic EMR with ambient dictation. Expanded access to care through eVisits, patient portals, and Geisinger ConvenientCare urgent care clinics. Benefits & Incentives Competitive salary with increased rates. Recruitment incentive up to $20,000 with a 30‑month work obligation (not applicable for internal transfers). Primary Care Archetype Model providing structured onboarding and tiered autonomy. Education & Experience Advanced Practitioners must be able to see and treat patients across all age ranges from pediatric (birth) to geriatric. For physician assistants: Completion of an ARC-PA (or predecessor) approved program. Current NCCPA certification or eligibility and Pennsylvania state licensure. For nurse practitioners: Completion of an approved NP program or eligibility to hold national certification allowing NP practice in this setting. Eligibility for licensure as a nurse practitioner in Pennsylvania.
