Investment Sales Associate

Full-time Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (Remote within Texas) Summr Capital Management

Role Description This is a remote, contract-to-hire role for an Investment Sales professional. The role involves identifying and engaging prospective clients, presenting Summr's investment strategies, and managing the full sales lifecycle from initial outreach to onboarding. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with institutional and individual investors, collaborating with investment and research teams to align client needs with appropriate solutions, and preparing clear, data-informed sales materials and presentations. The professional will monitor market trends and client portfolios to support ongoing communication, respond to inquiries, and provide timely updates on performance and strategy. The role also requires accurate documentation of sales activities, adherence to regulatory and compliance standards, and contribution to sales forecasting and pipeline reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong Investment Sales and Sales skills, with a track record of cultivating and closing client relationships.
• Solid Finance and Investments knowledge, including understanding of portfolio construction, risk, and ESG-focused strategies.
• Experience in Brokerage or related distribution channels, and familiarity with institutional and high-net-worth client segments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Proficiency with CRM tools, data-driven sales reporting, and basic financial modeling or analytics.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to compliance and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant licenses or certifications (e.g., securities registrations, CFA coursework) are beneficial.

Licensing

Candidates must hold, or be prepared to obtain, the following applicable licenses within the first 90 days of being hired:

• State Life and Health Insurance License
• Securities Industry Essentials Exam, or SIE
• Series 63
• Series 65

FINRA sponsorship and licensing support may be provided for eligible candidates, where applicable.
