Cleaner
Summary of Position: At Crooked Hammock Brewery, we believe a clean space creates a better experience for everyone. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Cleaner to help keep our restaurant looking its best. This is an early-morning role, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and understands the importance of creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members alike. From sparkling restrooms to spotless floors, your work helps set the tone for a great day. Must Enjoy the Ride!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and detail floors throughout the restaurant
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are fully stocked and guest-ready
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility
- Clean and disinfect dining areas, entryways, and high-touch surfaces
- Wipe down tables, chairs, windows, doors, and glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness in employee areas, including break rooms and back-of-house spaces
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Help prepare the facility for daily operations before guests arrive
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done
- Ability to work independently and stay on task without constant supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent—especially for early morning shifts
- Comfortable with physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and being on your feet for extended periods
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Previous cleaning or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work
