Medical IT Director of Software 335

As IT Director of Software Development, s/he will play an integral leadership role in creating a team-oriented, problem solving culture that fosters creativity and results in a performance driven, customer-focused technology team. S/he must hire, manage, and motivate a top-notch software development team; develop and maintain department forecasts, budgets and management reports; and ensure that technical, financial and personnel management standards are implemented and maintained. S/he must possess a thorough understanding of development methodologies, object oriented analysis and design, and the development of highly scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions (client-side and server-side). S/he must be able to foster the team to develop and maintain applications that meet FDA, CAP, and CLIA requirements. Qualifications BS – MS in Computer Science or Equivalent 10 Years Technical Experience in Software Development 5 Years Management Experience 7-10 Years Application Design, Development, Testing and Implementation Knowledge of Web Based Architecture, Relational Databases and Object-Oriented Design Track record of delivering software products Health Care Industry Experience Java and .Net Based Technologies Spring Framework, Web Services, Java Script, Ajax and MVC Frameworks i.e. JSF and Struts Hire, Manage, and Motivate a Top-Notch Development Team Department Forecasts, Budgets and Reports Technical, Financial and Personnel Standards Implemented and Maintained Solutions, Analysis, Design and Development Meeting FDA, CAP, and CLIA requirements Additional Information TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION IMMEDIATELY (Email ALL OF THE FOLLOWING as an attachment)
