Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Fry Cook / Kitchen Utility to support daily kitchen and bar prep operations. This role is hands-on and varied, ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, consistency, and teamwork.
This is a full-time, non-tipped hourly position with stable hours.
Responsibilities
- Kitchen & Food
- Fry and plate tapas and small plates to spec
- Maintain fryer quality, oil rotation, and station cleanliness
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Bar Prep
- Prepare fresh juices (pineapple, citrus, ginger, etc.)
- Batch house syrups according to recipes
- Label, date, and store all prep properly
- Cleaning & Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen
- Wash dishes as needed
- Clean prep areas and equipment
- Clean restrooms during shifts as needed
- Complete opening and closing cleaning duties
- Inventory Support
- Track prep levels and low stock items
- Assist with inventory counts and organization
Qualifications
- Kitchen or prep experience preferred (not required for the right candidate)
- Strong cleanliness and food safety awareness
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Able to multitask and work independently
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting moderate weight
- Comfortable working in an LGBTQ+ inclusive environment
- Able to Open and Close. The bar closes latest 12:30AM.
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English.
