Identity Management Administrator I - Im Identity Management

Summary:

The IMA has the primary accountability for handling requests and inquiries related to system and application access for Associates, Non-Associates, student interns and other clients at CHRISTUS Health. Systems and applications include but are not limited to: EPIC, Pyxis, Tap-N-Go, Centricity, PACS, Meditech, Active Directory, and other systems.

Responsibilities:

• Stay current with regulations, rules, and standards related to information and security system practices.
\ N
• Implement controls and procedures that protect information system assets from unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction.
\ N
• Align access‑related processes with organizational strategic goals by leading, directing, and maintaining appropriate security measures.
\ N
• Advise, train, and assist customers in the access administration of their systems.
\ N
• Provide oversight for applications and support functions, including incident and request management.
\ N
• Support the business goals and objectives of the department, the Information Management organization, and CHRISTUS Health.
\ N
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
\ N
• Utilize the ServiceNow incident tracking system to manage and resolve access‑related requests and issues.
\ N
• Show the ability to work independently and take initiative as a self‑starter.
\ N
• Apply effective problem‑solving skills to identify issues and implement appropriate solutions.
\ N
• Provide excellent customer service in all interactions with end users and stakeholders.
\ N
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills
\n - Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business or related field required,
\ N - In lieu of an Associate’sdegree, a High School diploma or GED and four (4) years of relevant work experience above the minimum qualification

Experience
\n - 0 - 2years of hands-on experience in information systems access and provisioning administration in healthcare or related field required.
\ N - Knowledge of industry standards related to provisioning and access.
\ N - Understanding of healthcare information system's needs.
\ N - Experience with MicrosoftActive Directory.
\ N - Knowledge of government regulations industry standards for information security relationships, HIPPA, PCI-DDS.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
\ N - Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP) is preferred
\ N - EPIC Certification is preferred
