Sales Associate 1 - Contingent

Overview Schedule: Contingent. Most hours will typically be in the evening - we are looking for someone who can be at work by 3:30pm. Some mornings possible. Weekdays only. Job Description Summary Provides services for patients, families, visitors, and hospital staff. The Sales Associate greets every customer, determines each individual’s specific needs and fulfills those needs in a friendly, efficient manner. Essential Functions Operate cash register accurately and efficiently. Resolve problems that arise with customers, physical plant or equipment and seek an appropriate resolution. Maintain a clean, safe environment for staff and visitors. Answer phone calls, resolve questions, give directions, and offer appropriate suggestions. Make priority setting decisions, perform stock replenishment, maintain storage and merchandise presentation. Education Requirement High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent mathematical abilities and problem‑solving skills. Strong physical stamina and ability to work independently. Experience Experience operating a cash register or computer is desired.
