Minimum 1+ years Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technologist experience and RCES or ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday; shifts between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• One to two weeknight call shifts
• Every fourth weekend on call

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program (education verification required)
• AART registration
• Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License
• Registered Cardiovascular Technologist
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Verify package integrity and expiration dates for all sterile supplies; prepare patient and equipment for sterile technique
• Prepare equipment and supplies for sterilization after procedures
• Monitor and record procedural data, maintain detailed event logs
• Provide patient comfort, clearly explain equipment and procedures, apply monitors, and prepare access sites
• Scrub in and maintain strict sterile technique for infection prevention
• Advocate and exercise radiation safety for self, patients, and coworkers—including dosimeter use and exposure minimization
• Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses; evaluate reports to ensure established safety limits are met
