Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The mechanical assembly team member is responsible for assembling HVAC and industrial cooling equipment according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and Airsys quality standards. This position supports production objectives through safe, efficient, and quality-focused assembly operations. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- ESSENTIAL · Assemble HVAC and cooling equipment per work instructions, drawings, and specifications · Install mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related components as trained. · Operate hand tools, power tools, and torque tools correctly and safely. · Perform in-process and final quality inspections · Follow all safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout requirements · Maintain workstation organization per 5S standards · Complete production documentation accurately · Communicate safety, quality, or material concerns to supervision · Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards · Support continuous improvement initiatives · Perform other duties as assigned ESSENTIAL SKILLS，QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE · High school diploma or GED preferred · Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools · Ability to read work instructions and drawings · Attention to detail and quality · Ability to work in a team-based manufacturing environment · Reliable attendance and punctuality BENEFICIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE · HVAC or industrial equipment assembly experience · Lean manufacturing or 5S experience · Forklift or crane operation experience · Bilingual (English & Spanish) AIRSYS is a diverse organization that provides equal opportunity in employment and has a policy of zero tolerance against discrimination or harassment during employment on the grounds of race, color, religion, ethnicity, use of native language, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, veteran status, age, genetic information, or any other status protected under applicable federal, state, or local laws.
