Advisory Billing Manager

The mission of this full-time position is todeliver exceptional support and service to financial advisors and their teams by ensuringaccurate,timely, and efficient billing operations.You willmaintainclean and reliable data systems,processingaccount changes with precision, andproducingcustomized reportsforadvisors. Through proactive communication, ongoing audits, and collaborative problem-solving,you willfacilitateseamless billing cycles. Primary Responsibilities Manage quarterly billing cycle for Schwab Investment Advisory fee collection Ensure the integrity of Orion data and other data, both internal and third party, related to the calculation of fees and support of compliance monitoring Review billing reports for discrepancies and make any necessary corrections Review and place trades to support the collection of fees Supervise the Investment Advisory Billing Team Assist in the development and testing of new software systems supporting fee collection Assist in the development and testing of Orion based systems supporting compliance monitoring Assist with Investment Advisory operations including account opening, trading, money movement and other service requests Assist Financial Advisors in tailoring fee collection parameters for clients’ specific needs Additional duties as may be required High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations This position requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in such things as composing, typing, and proofing materials,establishingpriorities and meeting deadlines Work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands Knowledge of data gathering and reporting procedures with a high level of attention to detail Flexibility for travel Ability to supervise and problem solve Sound judgment when weighing options in difficult situations Self-starter and motivated Education, Training & Experience Bachelor’s degree with an accounting or finance degree preferred 5+years working in Finance/ Accounting field and or similar experience required Registrations and Certifications Required SIE Series 7 Series 66 Series 24 (preferred) Computer Equipment & Software Microsoft Suite Excel Outlook Word Visio PowerPoint Orion Technology Working Conditions Business professional office environment We are committed to providing an accessible work environment.
