Painter & Finishes Tech - 3rd Shift

Basic Function The Painter & Finishes Tech will repair walls, ceilings, and other surfaces throughout the property, both inside and out. The tasks will also include performing preventive maintenance work orders. Essential Functions Performs finished repairs and touch ups to various surfaces throughout the hotel and meeting space. Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner. Identifies problems, initiates work orders, completes assigned work orders and completes all necessary repairs relating to their expertise. Responsible for correct use of building systems such as Building Management System and Life Safety Systems (training provided). Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace. Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use. Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols. Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system (training provided). Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed. Position Details Full time, 3rd shift. Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center, Westlake, Texas. Qualifications Interior painting experience required; able to work independently on paint jobs. Must be able to properly patch and paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, etc. Ability to repair vinyl, faux, tile surfaces preferred. Ability to use tools associated with the trade, such as brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc. Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred. Compensation Pay Rate: $22.20 per hour.
