Please note, this is a full-time, 2nd shift position (3:15pm - 11:45pm, Monday - Friday).General SummaryResponsible for maintenance and daily operations of casting machines, process parameters, sampling, process development and casting quality, as well being a liaison between shifts.ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on die casting machines as necessary to ensure safe and efficient operation.Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace hydraulic and pneumatic components, including hydraulic pumps, hydraulic and air cylinders, solenoid valves, accumulators, pump motors, oil systems, and filtration equipment.Implement standardized maintenance procedures, documentation, and best practices to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and ensure consistency of repairs across all production equipment.Diagnose equipment performance issues and perform repairs to maximize machine uptime and production efficiency.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment up to 480VCommunicate equipment status, repairs, and priorities effectively between shiftsPrevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.Assist in the general housekeeping of departmentRequirementsPrevious maintenance experienceSalary: $29.00/hr.
