Field Service Engineer-CNC

Our client is one of the nation’s leading machine manufactures and they are looking to hire Field Service Engineers across all their territory’s in the US. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on CNC machines (5 axis and metal preferred), Siemens or FANUC controls, and able to travel 50% of the time to clients within their territory.Title:Field Service Engineer-CNCLocation: United States-remoteRequired skills and responsibilities: 5+ years of experience doing field service work on CNC machine tools Provide customers with preventative maintenance, repair, and installations of machine toolsUnderstanding of assembly technology and metal cutting principlesCreating and updating documentation of technical information. Develop ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to Service Ability to read and follow tool layouts and NC code (G-code or M-functions)Read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatics and electrical prints and drawingsBuild strong customer service relationships with customers.Manage difficult customer situations in a positive manner and solicit customer feedback to improve service.Ability to travel 50% of the time customer sitesNice to have skills:Experience working on 5 axis machinesExperience working with Siemens controls or FanucBachelors degreeKnowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
