Insurance Sales Representative Account Manager

Meghan MacDonald State Farm is a competitive, high-producing insurance agency seeking a driven Insurance Sales Representative who enjoys prospecting, closing business, and exceeding goals. This is a sales-dominant Account Manager positionnot a primarily customer service role. You'll join a high-volume team where consistent activity, disciplined follow-up, and results matter. We want a confident producer who can turn leads into customers, build a strong pipeline, and grow the agency through needs-based insurance sales.

Licensing Requirements:

• Property & Casualty license must be obtained before your first day in the agency.
• Life & Health licenses are required and must be obtained within the agency's established timeframe after starting if not already held.
• Licensing guidance and support are provided to qualified candidates.
• Already licensed applicants are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do:

• Generate new business through outbound calls, warm and cold leads, referrals, and consistent follow-up.
• Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other available insurance products.
• Lead needs-based sales conversations, identify coverage gaps, and confidently ask for the sale.
• Handle objections and convert prospects into policyholders.
• Build and manage an active pipeline; maintain strong daily sales activity.
• Conduct policy reviews, cross-sell additional protection, and pursue Life insurance opportunities.
• Track applications, conversions, and production against individual and agency goals.
• Build lasting customer relationships that generate retention and referrals.
• Assist with customer account needs as appropriate while keeping sales production the priority.
