Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments and interviews, meticulously gathering psycho-social data from clients, families, and relevant parties to inform treatment approaches.

• Utilize your knowledge of the mental health recovery model to incorporate recovery principles into your clinical practices, ensuring that client engagement is focused on empowerment and self-efficacy.

• Develop, maintain, and implement tailored treatment and crisis intervention plans in collaboration with clients, with an emphasis on recognizing and building upon their strengths.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, social workers, and other clinicians, to provide holistic care that meets the diverse needs of patients.

• Conduct regular intake appointments and create actionable treatment plans that set clear, measurable goals while meticulously documenting patient progress in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and families grappling with various mental health challenges. You will engage with clients who may be experiencing emotional distress, trauma, or behavioral issues and work towards achieving their therapeutic goals. Your ability to approach each case with cultural competence will be essential in fostering trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Must hold an active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the state of Washington.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly with children or adolescents.

• Proficient in various counseling techniques, with a special focus on grief counseling and addiction counseling therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
