Although the position is remote, clinicians have access to an outpatient office space in New Bedford, should they prefer face-to-face interactions with clients or attend team meetings. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying their specific emotional and psychological needs.

• Design and implement tailored individual and group counseling sessions that address the unique emotional challenges related to aging, such as depression, anxiety, and life transitions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create comprehensive care plans that prioritize the mental health and well-being of geriatric clients.

• Deliver psychoeducation sessions for staff and families, focusing on enhancing the emotional well-being and quality of life for seniors through effective care strategies.

• Facilitate grief counseling sessions for clients and families coping with loss and bereavement, guiding them through the emotional struggles associated with end-of-life issues.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on experience and hours worked. In addition to a substantial sign-on bonus, we provide generous benefits including flexible work hours, and the opportunity to either establish a primary income stream or supplement existing income without incurring marketing costs to acquire clients.
