This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct your practice from the comfort of your home while maintaining communication and collaboration with our team. Our work schedule typically runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, promoting a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their specific care needs and tailor appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients cope with emotional challenges associated with aging, loss, and life transitions.

• Deliver educational sessions to families and caregivers, equipping them with strategies to enhance emotional well-being and the overall quality of life for their loved ones.

• Offer specialized grief and loss counseling, aiding residents and their families through the complexities of end-of-life issues.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy, to maximize client outcomes.

• Document all client interactions and treatment plans meticulously, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines and organizational protocols.

Your primary focus will be on providing support to elderly individuals, many of whom are dealing with significant life transitions, including loss of loved ones and adapting to new life circumstances. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in Washington State.

• A minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience in geriatric counseling or mental health support.

Compensation and Benefits\n
