To learn more about Team OC, visit Position We are currently searching for a PRN Patient Services Specialist to join our team at our OrthoCarolina Huntersville office location for our Urgent Care Practice. Hours Monday: 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm Friday: 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm Opportunity to pick up daytime shifts during the week and other OUC shifts on the weekends. Essential Functions Prepares paperwork necessary for the patient visit. Answers incoming phone calls, directs calls, makes appointments, and performs cashier duties as directed, including posting of charges. Collects co‑payments, co‑insurance, and balances due. Follows the process for release of medical information and FMLA/disability forms completion as requested. Skills & Abilities Excellent customer service skills. Working knowledge of insurance. Epic/EMR background a plus. Medical terminology knowledge. Qualifications High school graduate and/or associate or bachelor’s degree.
