Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Duration - 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an outpatient imaging environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty and strong patient-care and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the examination process.
• Review images for quality and completeness.
• Accurately document examinations and patient information.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain patient privacy and follow all applicable safety and infection-control standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience .
• ARDMS certification required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, anatomy, and imaging protocols.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a clinical imaging environment.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No regular weekend schedule indicated.
