Polysomnography Tech - Sleep Lab FULL TIME

DUTIES Performs various polysomnograms or other sleep disorders testing under the direction of the Sleep Center Medical Director. Responsible for attaching electrodes, monitoring patients, documenting observations, collecting data, and reporting information to the physician. Responsible for CPAP titration and oxygen therapy, scoring reports, and assigned quality and performance improvement activities. Provides patient education and follows standards, regulations, and policies set forth by the Joint Commission, CMS, AASM, and other regulating bodies. QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program and at least two years’ experience in a full-service sleep disorders center. Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (or registry eligible). BLS required within 30 days of employment.
