Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments in emergency situations
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer treatments and medications as per protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Manage patient flow efficiently in the emergency department
• Educate patients and families regarding health management
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately

Requirements

• Current NP or PA licensure in the state of Florida
• Associate degree in Nursing or relevant field for NP, or equivalent for PA
• Experience in emergency medicine or critical care preferred
• Strong clinical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
• Team-oriented with a commitment to patient-centered care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred

Schedule: 6a-6p, 9a-7p, 12a-10p, or 6p-6a

Daily Volume: 1.7 patients per APP per hour, 155 total (including ~30 pediatrics)

Annual Volume: 55K patients

Must be board-certified
