This opportunity lets you handle materials safely, support warehouse operations, and help ensure inventory reaches the right place at the right time.Job DutiesOperate forklifts to move, stage, and supply product for packing.Retrieve product from rack locations and deliver to designated staging and packing areas.Verify part numbers, quantities, and locations during movement; report discrepancies or issues to the Supervisor immediately.Keep products separated, organized, and in proper rotation.Perform routine pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment or safety issues immediately.Follow all forklift safety rules and traffic patterns.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Use a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities to improve material flow and efficiency.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.Experience RequirementsExperience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments.Ability to accurately identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required.Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependable work habits.Preferred QualificationsPrevious warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred.Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems is beneficial.Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse documentation, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Material Handler.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift.Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment.Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.BenefitsCompetitive Weekly PayComprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life Insurance and Disability Insurance for added peace of mind.Optional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the future.Safety-Focused Work Environment with opportunities for advancement and skill development.About UsAt Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
