Volunteers in Medicine – New Braunfels, TX

Part-Time Position

Practice primary care in a supportive, Christian environment without the restrictions of insurance.

New Braunfels Christian Ministries (NBCM) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) clinic, an established nonprofit clinic delivering high-quality, compassionate care in our new medical and dental facility in New Braunfels. This position is ideal for a provider with at least two years of primary care experience as an NP/PA who values thoughtful medicine, clinical independence, meaningful patient relationships, and sharing the love of Christ.

Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides comprehensive primary care services to uninsured adult patients while helping maintain high standards of clinical quality and continuity of care.

This role is best suited for an experienced provider who:

Required Education, Skills and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an NP or PA in primary care setting
• Current Texas NP/PA license
• Certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA),
• American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program (AANPCP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Current CPR Certification
• Current DEA license

PAY: $55.29 - $60.10 per hour

Expected hours: Part-time position 16-20 hr/wk; currently Tues/Thurs 8a-5p
