We're seeking the right candidate for the position of EVS Housekeeping Porter at Our Lady of Wisdom Community Care Center . In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.
What You Bring to the Table: Essential Qualifications:
- Participates in preparation of food and food handling techniques to ensure quality maintaining sanitation and safety procedures.
- Ensures that diets are served, as prescribed, by making only authorized substitutions.
- Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures.
- Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items.
- Performs day-to-day housekeeping functions in resident rooms and common areas in accordance with daily work assignments.
- Identifies plans and incorporates residents' daily pleasures and interests into household life based upon recommendations from families and friends.
- Distribute clean laundry, linen, and garments daily.
- Empty trash / mop.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation to prevent food/home illnesses.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Provide patience and compassion when working with residents and family members.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and team members.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations.
- Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
- Capable of providing emergency care as needed for any resident in the facility.
- Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening.
