Requirements Essential Job Responsibilities

- Handle, wash/dry and fold resident laundry and linens & return to promptly to owner.
- Ensures that resident personal clothing is properly identified and labeled properly.
- Cleans and disinfects dirty lavatories, beds, chairs, and equipment.
- Sweeps and mops resident rooms; cleans all rooms as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months of previous experience in environmental services is preferred.
- Knowledge of and use of cleaning devices and washer/dryer equipment.
- Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
- Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening.
