Pack Room Associates/Quality Control - 1st & 2nd Shifts

Lapeer area high precision, high volume machining company is looking for skilled Pack Room/Quality Control Inspectors to join their team. This is an automotive parts manufacturing facility. Pay is based on experience, starting at $15-16 per hour. Candidates must submit an up-to-date resume to be considered. 1st Shift (5:30AM - 4:00PM) and Second Shift (4:30PM - 3:00AM) are available. Mandatory overtime is required most weeks, including Saturdays. Some manufacturing and quality control experience is needed. Job Responsibilities Inspects, tests, or measures materials, products, or work for conformance to specifications. Measures dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers. Records inspection such as quantities inspected or graded. Marks items with details such as grade or acceptance-rejection status Other duties as assigned Competency Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
