Operations Finance Specialist (5115)

About the Role An established, fast-growing organization is looking for an Operations Finance Specialist to support financial oversight across multiple sites and internal technology initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of finance and operations, focusing on cost visibility, invoice accuracy, and budget alignment. This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving financial puzzles, and can independently manage high volumes of transactional data while maintaining accuracy. Responsibilities Track budgets and expenses across multiple locations and projects Support ongoing P&L visibility and financial reporting Review financial data to identify inconsistencies and resolve issues Review and assign invoices to the correct projects, sites, and cost centers Investigate unclear or misallocated charges Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate financial coding and alignment Operational Support Assist with financial planning tied to operational and IT initiatives Contribute to process improvements and reporting enhancements Provide ad hoc analysis to support leadership decision-making Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in financial operations, business operations, or similar analytical roles Strong understanding of budgeting, expense tracking, and P&L concepts Experience handling high-volume invoices or multi-entity financial data Advanced Excel skills for tracking and analysis Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and solve problems in ambiguous situations Nice to Have Experience in multi-location or high-transaction environments Exposure to ERP systems (any platform) Background in operational finance or supporting business functions outside of accounting What Stands Out Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset Comfortable partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to bring structure and clarity to complex financial workflows #J-18808-Ljbffr Tier4 Group
