Mid-Level Salesforce Software DeveloperScientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a mid-level Salesforce Software Developer to join the existing SRC Cloud Service Integration Team (CSIT). CSIT currently supports multiple Department of War (DOW) projects and customer providing Salesforce configuration, development, integration, test, project management, technical writing, and risk management framework support. This role is ideal for a mid?level developer with strong full?stack fundamentals and growing Salesforce expertise. The Salesforce Software Developer will build client?side components (Lightning Web Components), server?side logic (Apex), and integrations that support mission?critical workflows across secure government and federal environments. Responsibilities include:Designing, developing, testing, and supporting the deployment of Salesforce Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, APIs, and platform automationBuilding and maintaining full?stack features using HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and JavaImplementing and optimizing data models, schemas, relationships, and data flows across Salesforce and integrated systemsSupporting integration development, including REST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft flows, and external system mappingsCollaborating with cross?functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutionsParticipating in Agile requirements, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and team retrospectivesProducing clear, concise technical documentation, diagrams, and release notesCommunicating technical concepts effectively to both technical and non?technical audiencesEnsuring compliance with DoW cybersecurity, data governance, and secure development standardsProviding periodic on?site support or customer engagement (up to 5% travel) FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING RequirementsBachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (computer science, information systems, engineering, etc.)Two or more years of full?stack development experience, including: HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, JavaTwo or more years of software development experience using scripting or object?oriented languagesWorking knowledge of database design, including schemas, tables, relationships, and data flowStrong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environmentExcellent problem?solving and critical?thinking abilitiesExperience integrating into existing complex systemsAbility to communicate technical work clearly through written and verbal methodsDesired SkillsTwo or more years of Salesforce development experienceSalesforce Developer Certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II) strongly preferredExperience with Salesforce platform capabilities such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing CloudStrong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practicesHands?on experience developing and delivering Lightning Web ComponentsExperience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration toolsPrior experience integrating Salesforce with complex enterprise systemsKnowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teamsFamiliarity with version control systems such as Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab, or VS-CodExperience with third-party integrations and API usage, a plusClearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL Travel RequirementsSome travel around 5%About UsScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
