IT Support Specialist

IT SpecialistThe role of the IT Specialist is to provide technical support and assistance for a variety of information technology assets & systems, including account management, PCs, printers, servers, applications, cell phones.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation and LAN performance.Provides answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps.Improves knowledge base by writing and maintaining documentation.Participates in development of client training programs by identifying learning issues and recommending instructional language.Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements.Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Travel to remote sites on a rotational basis to provide excellent support solutions to business needs (including after hours or as needed)Other duties as assigned.Provide on-call support as needed (including after hours)Requirements/QualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or Equivalent RequiredExperience:AD management - user creation/termination, group management, password resets, etcM365 adminSIP based phone systemsCitrix Cloud/NetscalerApplication management - M365, Adobe, Autocad LT, ArtiosCADExperience with M365 suiteCompTIA A+ cert, Sec+ cert, Net+, M365 certs preferredAbility to utilize remote accessSpecific Knowledge, Skills or AbilitiesStrong written and oral communication.Organization and attention to detail.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Time management.Systems analysis.Mathematical and deductive reasoning.Critical thinking.Physical Demands/Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the functions of this job.Physical Requirements:Sit and stand as needed.May require walking on a level surface for periods throughout the day.Reaching above shoulders, below waist and lifting as required to file documents or store materials.Lifting to 25 lbs.Work Environment:Typical office settingMay require you to enter a manufacturing environment that requires proper PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection.Manufacturing environment may be loud, hot/cold depending on seasonDisclaimer: This list does not represent all physical demands.
