About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President for Development and Major Gifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing regional friend-raising outreach and major-gift solicitations to individual donors, businesses, and foundations. This role involves working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and a regional Senior Director of Development to drive solicitations and coordinate various regional events. The SVP will also be involved in signature events such as regional competitions for athletes and fundraising events. Applicants for the Senior Vice President position at the company should have a proven track record in fundraising, particularly in the areas of major gifts and donor cultivation. The role requires a strategic and proactive approach to managing regional outreach and solicitations. The ideal candidate will have experience in event coordination and a deep understanding of the philanthropic landscape. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. A background in nonprofit management and a passion for the mission of the organization are also key requirements.
