Recreation Coordinator - Senior Center

Senior Center Recreation Coordinator We are seeking a Senior Center Recreation Coordinator to help develop, organize, and implement programs for one of the best senior centers in the state. This role provides an opportunity to shape meaningful experiences for older adults in a vibrant community‑focused environment. Responsibilities Design, coordinate, and deliver engaging programs for adults 50+, including classes, trips, sports, and special events. Collaborate with fellow coordinators to develop and enhance citywide senior services. Organize program logistics – scheduling, staffing, supplies, and program evaluation. Transport participants safely using a 15‑passenger van and may lead group hikes up to 8 miles. Additional responsibilities include creating innovative programs to keep Auburn’s senior community active, connected, and thriving.
