Prep Person Location: Eggs Up Grill Evans, 1200 Town Park Ln, Evans, GA Starting Pay Range: $9.00 – $12.50/hour Reports to: Kitchen Manager Mission & Culture At Eggs Up Grill Evans, our mission is "Neighbors Serving Neighbors." Role Summary The Prep Person is responsible for preparing fresh ingredients and supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient operations. This role is critical to delivering high-quality food, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting our cooks and servers. Key Responsibilities Prepare and portion fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients according to recipes and prep lists Follow daily prep checklists and maintain an organized, clean prep station Label, date, and store all prepped items correctly Monitor inventory of prep items and communicate low stock to Kitchen Manager Assist with receiving and storing deliveries Clean and sanitize prep areas, equipment, and utensils throughout the shift Support cooks and kitchen staff as needed during peak hours Follow all health, safety and sanitation guidelines (100% compliance expected) Uphold Eggs Up Grill’s standards for quality, presentation, and guest experience Skills & Qualifications Previous prep or kitchen experience preferred, but not required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment Attention to detail and commitment to food safety Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef/prep cook Familiarity and fluency in kitchen terminology Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, procedures, and equipment Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Familiar with industry best practices Willingness to pursue ServSafe certification is a plus Benefits & Growth Competitive starting pay ($9.00–$12.50/hour) Free meal during each shift Opportunities for advancement and cross-training Supportive, community-focused team environment Paid training and Eggs Up Grill University access How to Apply Apply in person at Eggs Up Grill Evans or email your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io.
