End User Computing Analyst

Position OverviewWe are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end users across a dynamic IT environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, fulfilling service requests, supporting device deployments and changes, and maintaining IT asset inventory. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide end-user break/fix support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.Track, document, and communicate the status and resolution of technical incidents and service requests.Support installations, moves, additions, and changes (IMAC) for end-user technology environments.Deliver Tier 2 technical support for a variety of devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and other peripheral equipment.Assist with IT asset management processes, including inventory tracking, device lifecycle management, and equipment deployment.Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure timely issue resolution and continuous service improvement.Prioritize and escalate issues appropriately to minimize business impact.Provide technical guidance and support to end users in a professional and customer-centric manner.QualificationsExperience3+ years of experience supporting endpoint computing environments.Experience in the insurance industry is a plus, but not required.EducationAssociate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.Technical Skills & KnowledgeStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based environments.Experience with endpoint support, PC administration, and device troubleshooting.Understanding of IT asset management processes, methodologies, and tools.Familiarity with service request management and issue tracking systems.Knowledge of networking fundamentals and end-user computing technologies.Professional SkillsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.Proactive approach to issue resolution and customer support.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage action plans, and handle multiple requests effectively.Strong knowledge-sharing and technical advising skills.Systems-thinking mindset with a focus on delivering practical solutions.Additional InformationThis role requires extensive interaction with end users, including support during time-sensitive or high-pressure situations.Successful candidates must be able to work independently after onboarding while maintaining strong collaboration with IT colleagues.A comprehensive training and onboarding period is provided, with most employees reaching a high level of independence within six months.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Merrill, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
