Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Flagstaff, AZ | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3×12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment within a Level I Trauma, Teaching facility
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of typically 4:1, adjusted based on acuity
• Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration via BCMA
• Rotate every other weekend as required by the unit
• Document and chart accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Be available to work 2 of the facility's recognized holidays during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or a valid, participating Compact RN License — Required
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications — Required (BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association)
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (candidates with fewer years may be considered)
• Availability to work every other weekend
• No on-call or floating requirements for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification — Preferred
• Prior experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Experience in a Level I Trauma or Teaching hospital setting
