Compensation Manager - Total Rewards

About the Role The Manager of Compensation leads the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation programs, systems, and job architecture. This role ensures compensation practices are competitive, equitable, operationally efficient, and aligned with business strategy. The Manager of Compensation partners across Operations, Manufacturing, Retail and the Home Office to deliver accurate, scalable, and transparent compensation solutions. This position combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, focusing on modernization, automation, governance, and analytics. What You’ll Do Oversee the administration and governance of company‑wide wage and salary programs, ensuring alignment with pay philosophy, market competitiveness, and internal equity. Lead job architecture and evaluation processes, support wage planning across regions and departments, and ensure compensation programs are applied consistently, fairly, and in compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Manage key compensation and incentive programs across Operations, Manufacturing, Retail, and the Home Office. Work closely with Payroll, Finance, and internal partners. Ensure accurate compensation processing, maintain program documentation, support compensation cycles, and simplify plan design to improve clarity and efficiency. Leverage compensation analytics and market data to guide decision‑making and support leadership; serve as system owner for compensation platforms, reduce manual processes, improve automation, and partner with vendors and consultants to build scalable, sustainable solutions. Perform other duties as assigned. Culture Fit The Manager of Compensation – Total Rewards leads the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation programs, systems, and job architecture, ensuring practices are competitive, equitable, operationally efficient, and aligned with business strategy. The Manager partners across Operations, Manufacturing, Retail and the Home Office to deliver accurate, scalable, and transparent solutions. This position combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, focusing on modernization, automation, governance, and analytics. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Compensation, Data/Business Analysis or a similar field. Minimum of 5 years in Compensation or Total Rewards. High proficiency managing compensation programs, working with compensation programs and analytics, job evaluation, reporting, and process improvement. Strong business partnership skills and project management. Effective oral and written communication skills. CCP, PHR/SPHR or other related certification preferred.
