Our ideal candidate will handle case files from start to finish in litigation, have excellent credentials, a passion for helping people, and a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation and trial experience. We are looking to shift the way that personal injury cases are handled and seen by not only other legal professionals but by people in the real world. We want to make a difference in the community by breaking the misconception that personal injury law firms only care about money and "chasing ambulances." We are here to seek justice for clients by putting them first and working every case up to its maximum potential. This is not a "factory" or a "mill". Responsibilities: • Converse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather information • Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary • Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system • Investigate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly • Serve as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation Qualifications: • A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessary • Computer proficiency is essential • Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred • State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory • Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative Compensation: $150,000 - $400,000 yearly
