Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed in Beaumont, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access activity, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and exceptional customer service. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $13.25 / Hour Security Experience - +1 YearsValid Driver's License -TSA Issued TWICClient Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 AM - 04:00 PMTue04:00 AM - 04:00 PMWed04:00 AM - 10:00 AMSun04:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor entry and exit points; verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and vehicle access in accordance with established site requirements. Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle and access‑related records; issue and recover credentials, keys and other authorized access items as directed. Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; promptly communicate concerns through established reporting channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security‑related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess at least one year of security‑related experience. Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC. A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
